Quality: All of our pieces are guaranteed new and first-quality, unless otherwise noted (e.g. antique and semi-antique pieces). All rugs are inspected before leaving our store.
Images: The digital images displayed have the most accurate colors possible. However, because color calibration between computer monitors and digital photos can vary greatly, we cannot be responsible for variations in color between the actual piece and your screen.
Design Variation: Rug designs are scaled to the size of the rug. For example, larger rugs typically have wider, more complicated borders and more repeats of a central design than a smaller rug.
Size Variation: Because we provide rugs which are handcrafted and machine designed, actual rug size may vary from the standard size listed. Exact sizes will be noted whenever possible. Make sure to speak with our expert if you have specific size requirements.
Colors Change within a Rug: Color variation within a rug is called Abrash and occurs naturally due to slight variations in dye-lots of wool. Abrash can look like soft variation of color within an area or can be a stronger change, almost a line from light to dark in extreme cases. Antique and semi-antique rugs frequently exhibit abrash due to the use of vegetal dyes. Vegetal dye colors are not consistent from one batch to the next. Abrash is not considered a flaw, but a planned component of a new rug, and therefore is not a reason for refund. Your privacy and security are important to us. We never share any private information from our site with any outside parties. We use a number of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. We use the latest security technologies to protect our customer's transactions and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all information you input before it is sent to us. All customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access.
What information do we collect?
When you visit we collect two types of information: personal information that you input when registering, ordering, requesting information, etc. (this includes name, email, address, phone number and comments) and usage information that is non-identifiable (the IP address of your Internet Service Provider, the date and time of your visit, the Internet address of the website from which you linked to our site, the operating system you are using, and the sections of our website that you visited, pages, images, etc.).
How do we use your information?
We use your personal information to process orders and to provide you with marketing material. If you provide us with your email address, we will add you to our email mailing list. We typically send out 2-4 emails per month to alert customers to promotions and sales. By voluntarily providing us with your personal information, you consent to allowing to send you these marketing materials. If you prefer not to receive these materials, click unsubscribe on the first email you receive and you will be automatically removed. You may also call or email us directly and we'll be happy to remove you. We use the non-identifying information to better design our website for your convenience.
